Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our Free Service

Compare To Save provides a free comparison service to consumers. Because we do not charge consumers directly, there are no fees to refund for using our comparison platform.

Provider Contracts

When you switch to a new provider through our platform, you enter into a direct contract with that provider — not with Compare To Save. Cancellation and refund rights for your new service are governed by the provider's own terms and conditions.

Cancelling a Switch

If you wish to cancel a switch after submitting your details but before the switch has completed:

  • Contact us immediately at support@comparetosave.net or call +1-855-730-9559
  • We will contact the provider on your behalf to halt the switch process
  • If the switch has already been processed, you may be subject to the provider's own cancellation policy

Cooling-Off Period

Under Australian Consumer Law, you may have the right to a cooling-off period when entering into a new service contract. The cooling-off period and any applicable conditions will be outlined in your provider's welcome documents.

Exit Fees

Some providers charge exit fees if you leave before your contract end date. We always display any known exit fees during the comparison process so you can factor them into your decision.

Disputes

If you have a dispute with a provider regarding a switch facilitated through our platform, please contact us and we will do our best to assist. For unresolved disputes, you may contact the relevant energy ombudsman or consumer protection authority in your state.
